Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups graham cracker
crumbs
1 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts,
Addition:
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
1/4 cup butter, melt
3 tablespoons milk
Glass cover:
Chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
Method
In a saucepan, combine the sugar and cocoa; Add butter. Cook
over medium heat and stir until butter is melted. Mix a small amount of hot
mixture in the egg. While stirring constantly, add to the pan. Stir in cracker
crumbs, coconut and, nuts. Pour the prepared mixture into the pan. Refrigerate
for 30 minutes or until set.
For the filling, in a
small bowl, stir in the sugar, pudding mix, butter and milk until smooth. In
the microwave, melt the chocolate and butter and stir until smooth. Spread.
Refrigerate until set. Using foil, lift the bars out of the pan. Cool and cut
into squares and serve.
