Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons
baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla
essence
1/2 teaspoon salt
Procedure:
To make a vanilla cake, apply butter paper or grease the
butter before filling the tin base. Sprinkle some flour inside it.
Now run the flour and
baking powder in a bowl with a sieve and mix it well. Add salt, sugar, butter,
water and vanilla essence to it and mix it well with a spoon.
Add a little milk to it and whisk it well so that a smooth
paste is prepared. Then pour the bata into the cake tin.
Heat the pressure
cooker. Heat the cooker on high flame for 4-5 minutes without whistling. Then
place the cake tin in it. Turn off the cooker without a whistle. Reduce heat
and cook for 30 minutes. Serve when the cake has cooled.
