Brave troops of Border Security Force are not only guarding India’s International borders but also creating a sense of security and providing humanitarian aids to border populace under the dynamic leadership of Sh Ajai Singh, Inspector General, BSF North Bengal Frontier, Kadamtala.
Through the concerted efforts of troops of Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Border Security Force deployed in the border area of 148 Battalion of BSF under Jalpaiguri Sector in North Bengal Frontier of BSF on Indo-Bangladesh border of Coochbehar district of West Bengal rescued a bordering area village minor girl from the clutch of human traffickers and intercepted her alongwith the eloper in the general area of Alipurdwar under Mynaguri Police Station in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal with the help of police and NGO.
She was missing from her house and she was lured by a youth, through facebook. Further, rescued girl safely was handed over to her parents at New Jalpaiguri PS and police arrested the youth person.
Border Security Force always helps the needy border residing people in times of their emergent requirement for assistance and evacuation. “Sentinels of Borders” are not only carrying out their duties on the Indo-Bangladesh border but also perform humanitarian role for the border people.
