On 21 July 2022, acting on the tip off, troops of BOP Saraswati of 40 Battalion BSF under Jalpaiguri Sector of North Bengal Frontier deployed on Indo-Bangladesh Border in Coochbehar district of West Bengal apprehended 01 Indian National, namely Md Bachha (42 yrs) S/O MD Hasoddi R/O Vill-108 Chotta Kuchlibari, PS-Kuchlibari, Distt-Coochbehar (West Bengal).
While he was trying to breach security fence with intension to cross International boundary, on duty BSF sentry challenged him to stop but he didn't pay any heed and attacked on him with dah resulting which the sentry got minor injury on his right hand. However, the sentry succeeded to apprehend the above miscreant. During this process, the apprehended miscreant also got minor bruises over his body.
