Border Security Force organised Inter Frontier Athletic Competition -2022 at BSF Academy, Tekanpur, Gwalior (MP) w.e.f. 17 – 21 Oct 2022 and Inter Frontier Anti Sabotage Check Competition – 2022 w.e.f. 25 – 29 Oct 2022 in which 11 teams of BSF Frontier from Kashmir, Jammu, Guwahati, Tripura, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Mizoram & Cachhar, South Bengal, North Bengal and Meghalaya Ftr were participating in the both competitions under the dynamic leadership of Shri Ajai Singh, Inspector General of BSF North Bengal Frontier.
The Athletic team of North Bengal Frontier consisting troops of different units under the North Bengal Frontier got the first position with 05 Gold medals in the Inter Frontier Athletic Competition – 2022.
Meanwhile, the Bomb Disposal team of North Bengal consisting troops of different units under the North Bengal Frontier got the Second position with 02 Gold & 01 Silver medals.
In this connection, a felicitation ceremony for the Athletics and Bomb Disposal team of the North Bengal Frontier organised at BSF Campus Kadamtala on 07 Nov 2022 (Monday). Sh Ajai Singh, Inspector General of BSF North Bengal Frontier felicitated the both teams and wised them well for their grand endeavour.
Border Security Force securing Indo-Pak and Indo-Bangladesh border since 1965 and has proven its mettle in Border Management as “First Line of Defence”. The spirit of sincerity and devotion to duty which has been imbibed in Seema Pahari’s is displayed and executed in all fields including sports.
