Apprehension of 3 Bangladeshi nationals and one Indian tout from Indo-Bangladesh broder area

Apprehension of 3 Bangladeshi nationals and one Indian tout with an authorised stamp of sub-registerar of West Bengal official and seaser of cattle, phensedyl & other contraband items from Indo-Bangladesh broder area.
Troops of under command Battalions of North Bengal Frontier BSF deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border under the dynamic leadership of Shri Ajai Singh, Inspector General of North Bengal Frontier BSF are maintaining alertness of highest order on the border to thwart any attempt of antinational elements to execute their nefarious designs of smuggling and infiltration & exfiltration.
On 18 June 2023 (Sunday) at about 1750 hrs, acting on a tip off, troops of BOP Bheem of 06 Battalion BSF under Jalpaiguri Sector of North Bengal Frontier deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border in Coochbehar district of West Bengal apprehended 01 Bangladeshi National namely Niloy Sarkar (19 Yrs) S/o Nirmal sarkar @ Balram Sarkar, R/o Vill-Mohanganj, PS-Mohanganj, Distt-Mymensingh (Bangladesh) and 01 Indian Tout namely Amal Chandra Sarkar (36 Yrs; Tout) S/o Niranjan Chandra Sarkar, Vill-Madhya Kalaraikuti, PS-Kotwali, Distt-Coochbehar (West Bengal) while duo were moving suspiciously on a motor cycle towards main axis of Mekhliganj near unfenced area of Dahagram-Angarpota of Indo-Bangladesh.
BD Taka 152 and Mobile-01 was recovered from the possession of Niloy Sarkar (Bangladeshi) meanwhile Indian Currency Rs.2,341/-, Mobile-02 (including I-Phone), Smart Watch (Apple)-01, Bike (TVS Apache)-01 and Unauthorized Stamp-01 were recovered from the possession of Amal Chandra Sarkar (Indian Tout).
Amal Chandra Sarkar (Indian Tout) revealed that he came to the general area of Teenbigha Corridor to receive the apprehended Bangladesh National (Niloy Sarkar) for further facilitating his settlement in Coochbedhar district for livelihood.
Amal Chandra Sarkar (Indian Tout) also revealed that he had received the recovered unauthorized stamp of Sub-Registrar of West Bengal Official from one Chandan Shamanto R/O Vill-Madhya Kalaraikuti, PS-Kotwali, Distt-Coochbehar (West Bengal) for making forged documents of illegal crossing of apprehended Bangladeshi National.
Apprehended Bangladeshi National and Indian Tout with seized items were handed over to PS Kuchlibari.
In another incident, on 18 June 2023 (Sunday) at about 1200 hrs, alert troops of BOP Chhtrahati of 164 Battalion BSF under Raiganj Sector of North Bengal Frontier deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border in Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal apprehended one Bangladeshi national namely Golam Rabbani (30 Yrs) S/o Naimul Ali, R/o Vill-Patari, PS-Sapahar, Distt-Naogaon (Bangladesh) while he was trying to cross border illegally from India to Bangladesh. Silver Chain (20 Gms)-01, Mobile-01, Indian Currency Rs.169/-, Aadhar Card-02, PAN Card-01 and Debit Card-02 were recovered from his possession. Apprehended person revealed that these recovered Indian documents are fake. He came to India five years ago and was working as a labour in Hyderabad. He wanted to go his native place to meet with his family members. Apprehended Bangladeshi National was alongwith seized items was handed over to PS Tapan.
In another incident, on 18 June 2023 (Sunday) at about 1945 hrs, acting on a tip off, troops of BOP Kamdevpur of 174 Battalion BSF under Raiganj Sector of North Bengal Frontier deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border in Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal apprehended 01 Bangladeshi national namely Sabuj Das, S/o Santosh Das, R/o Vill- Bontara, PS-Kotwali, Distt-Dinajpur (Bangladesh) while he was trying to cross border illegally for the smuggling of Phensegrip & Liquor from India to Bangladesh. Phensegrip-50 Btls and Liquor-12 Btls were recovered from his possession. Apprehended Bangladeshi National with seized items was handed over to PS Kumarganj.
In addition to the above, from 15 to 19 June 2023, troops of under command Battalions of North Bengal Frontier BSF carried out anti-smuggling drive in their respective border areas in order to thwart any attempt by ANEs to execute their nefarious design of smuggling and seized 34 Cattle, 355 bottles of Phensedyl group of cough syrup and other contraband items from different border areas. The total value of the seized items is Rs.5,94,370/-. Above items were seized by BSF troops while smugglers were trying to smuggle it fom India to Bangladesh.
